We have lots of fun little adventures in a month, so here are some of the fun things we did in September 2013! On Zoey's birthday we went walking in town and were going to try for a tour of The United States Ship (
) (LST) 325 which was docked at Haddad Riverfront Park. However, the line was quite long and it was hot, so we opted for some photos from shore. Used during World War II, this historic vessel was at on and made 44 subsequent trips across .
We also made a trip into the mall play ground to cool off. Karter loves being able to crawl around and pull himself up here.
Breakfast with the family at our favorite little place in town, First Watch! Here is daddy and his blue eyed girl.
A little time at Danner Meadows Park after school one day.
Zoey got a tent and sleeping bag from Nana for her birthday, so she and daddy decided to try it out in the front yard! I think it took her a little while to wind down enough to go to sleep, but when she did she slept like a regular outdoorsmen.
Our happy little Hokie loves the swings!
Not much that needs to be said about this one! Thanks Miss Kelli for the super fun onesie.
Nana was in town and so we took her to our favorite park with us and she decided she needed to do more than watch :-)
Nona came and gave mommy and daddy a bit of a break. We are so blessed to have a Nona in our lives.
Miss Christi had was busy one evening and Mr. Dave had his hands full of little girls. So Miss Laura took Zoey and her BFF Ila to the South Charleston Carnival that comes along with Ribfest and they had a ball! We did the carousel, swings, little round and round rides, had some BBQ and a lot of fun! I love these two.
