Some Fun Outside....

Zoey loves to play outside, so when it finally got warm enough to spend a little time outside, we took advantage of it. Here is our budding Soccer, basketball, track star :-)

Making Valentines

Zoey's Class was having their Valentine's Day Party on Monday, February 14th. So when Mommy and Mis Heather got back from their long run, Mommy and Zoey sat down to make her Valentine's. She drew on each one and added a heart sticker. Here are some photos of the fun!

Game Day - NCSU vs. WVU in the Champs Sports Bowl 2010

Game Day! This time it was the Wolfpack and not the Hokies. So Daddy and Zoey were both sporting their game day gear! The Wolfpack upset the WVU Mountaineers 23-7 in the 2010 Champs sports bowl!! Here is Mommy and Zoey showing off their NCSU gear.

Dave, Christi, Rachel, Dan and Evan came over to watch the game with us. Zoey was showing off her new play yard to our WVU frenemies, Dave and Christi.

Saying Bye to Nannie and Poppop

Three generations of the Johns' family! We had such a lovely Chrismas and a nice vist. We were all sad to say goodbye to Nannie and Poppop. The morning after they left Zoey kept saying Poppop All gone. I am certain he won't stay away too long baby girl :-)

Zoey's 2nd Christmas!

Once it got the be after 8am and she was still asleep, Mommy and Daddy couldn't take it any longer and we went in to wake up our sleeping beauty! Eating some of Mom's homemade banana bread...yummy!

Visiting Santa for the first time

We decided that as a right of passage Zoey should go see Santa. I made the mistake of trying to put her on his lap all by herself first and the tears started. So after asking Santa if I would break his leg...she and I sat down together. As you can see from the photo, having Mommy there didn't seem to make a difference. But it will be a great memory :-)

Christmas Eve 2010!

For lunch on Christmas Eve Mommy fixed me some homemade macaroni and cheese, "mac mac". Obviously little Z really enjoyed it :-)

An Early Christmas in NC

The weekend before Christmas, Mommy, Daddy and Zoey all went down to Pfafftown, to celebrate an early Christmas with Nana, Papa, Uncle Fuzzy, Aunt Lori and Aunt 10-10...and lots of other special family too. Here is Zoey playing with Fuzzy and Aunt Lori. Zoey isn't used to stairs, so she had a blast learning to go up and down and up and down and up and down at Nana and Papa's house.
