Baking For the First Time with Mom

Mommy has taken an interest in all things that require baking, so she decided to let Zoey help her out for the first time today. We were making our very first batch of chocolate chip cookies from scratch! Waiting for mom to read the recipe.

Easter Morning with Nana and 10-10 in WV

Nana and Aunt Kristen came up to spend Easter with us again this year. This year we celebrated in WV. Here is Zoey diving into her Eater Basket and checking out some of the neat books from her Aunt 10-10.

Zoey's New Quilt

While Nana and Aunt Kristen were in for a visit they surprised Zoey with her first quilt. As you can see from the photo the quilt is beautiful and very colorful...and goes perfectly with Zoey's room and personality!

You can also see that Zoey was VERY excited about her quilt! Nana and Kristen made it with Zoey's Great-Great Aunt Keewa and it was hand quilted with lots of love.

Making Easter Eggs with 10-10 and the Lyons Ladies

Maria, Isabella and Heather Lyons all came over to help Zoey, Mommy and 10-10 color some easter eggs. Here are all three girls patiently awaiting the task at hand! 10-10 helping the girls with their works of art.

Bounce House with Ila

Mama's little country girl (thanks for the cute shirt Kelli!!) was tearing it up in the bounce house with Ila at Miss Christi's house. This was one of our wednesday night play dates with Ila. The girls were having a blast.

Fun Day With Mom

After Mommy and Daddy got back from a weekend at Viginia Beach where Mommy ran a half marathon with her friends, Mommy took a day off for some girl bonding time!! First stop the Park. Zoey had a blast on the slide and the swings.

The marks on her face were from the day before when she did a face plant on the driveway!!

After the trip to the park we made a quick trip to Wal-Mart where we stocked up on the spring essentials....sidewalk chalk and what else....a Bubble Machine! Clearly, she loves the bubbles!!
