Happy St. Patrick's Day 2013

This year St Patrick's Day was a very special day.  Karter Ethan Johns and Logan Michael Edwards were baptized together by Reverend Duvall at New Hope United Methodist Church, in NC in front of friends and family.  It was such a special ceremony, that the boys could share this special time in their new little lives and that there were so many family and friends there to share it with us.  Here are some photos of the boys special day.

 Then Logan was baptized and introduced to the congregation as we sang a song just for him.

After Logan was baptized, little Karter was baptized and introduced to the congregation as we all sang a song just for Karter.

Zoey was so good during the service.  She bowed her head for prayer and sang along with the congregation.  

Visit with Mama Peggy and Aunt Sherri

Bright and early Saturday morning, Uncle Fuzzy stopped in to visit us and got a little hands on time with baby Karter.  After Karter and Zoey spent time with Fuzzy and Papa Mike,  Zoey, Karter and I all went up to Mama's house for a visit and while we were there Aunt Sherri came to see the Johns kiddos as well.  Zoey was doing her gymnastics and she was pretending to be the teacher and had Aunt Sherri being the student :-)

All the Grand Babies together for the 1st Time!

We took our first road trip this weekend for Karter and Logan's baptism.  The kids were so good on the road.  We made it all the way to Princeton, stopped for lunch and then made it the rest of the way.  When we got to Nana's, Mommy, 10-10 and Fuzzy cooked dinner and then we all hung out and watched the ACC tournament.  After bath, just before bedtime all the grands put on their matching PJ's that Aunt 10-10 brought back from her trip this summer.  Here are a few of the photos of the three of them.

 Then of course Nana and Papa had to get in on all of the grand baby loving as well.  They all look so Happy.  Papa Mike can't decide which one to look at first!

And last but not least a photo of Zoey with her cousin Logan.  She was so infatuated with him all weekend, she just wanted to hold him and love on him.

Karter 13 weeks Stats

Today Karter and I made a trip to see his doctor for his worsening relflux, as a positive side not we got to see how much he weighs and our little man is up to 11 lbs and 4 oz!  He has already doubled in size!

Bumbo Time when Mommy was Cooking Dinner

Today when Mommy was cooking, little Karter got some Bumbo time just hanging out and chatting with her.  He was initially very interested in his feet, this seems to be new this week.  Then you can tell his head gets tired and he starts to lean, so Mommy had to give big man a break.

Daddy's 38th Birthday

Today was Daddy's 38th birthday.  Mommy still wasn't feeling great, so we all just hung out together at home and picked up some Chinese and cupcakes to eat at the house.  I also dressed Zoey and Karter in their matching PJ's from Aunt 10-10 and took some photos with Daddy on his special day!  So sweet.  Zoey didn't want to smile, she kept wanting to make silly faces, so Daddy made a deal with her....if she would smile for a photo they could do a silly face photo.  I actually think that the silly face was cuter than the serious one :-)
