Trick or Treat

Tonight was Zoey's first time trick or treating, she was a white tiger. In Charleston they have always done it on a week night close to Halloween instead of on Halloween. Mommy was VERY excited, much more so than Zoey was to get into the costume. Here we are trying to get her ready for her big night. Mom, this thing is empty!!
Really not wanting to put this costume on Mom!

OK, Costume on - check. Pumpkin - check.
Let's do this Mom and Dad.
Ah...my little pink ears were so cute! Good thing Mom picked out a furry costume, it was quite cool outside!
My very first stop.
I'm a big Tiger, I can do this all by myself!
Come on Mom, bring the pumpkin, we need that for the Candy!
Nobodys home.
We found Dad back at our house giving out candy.
This house was REALLY cool! There were witches and graves, fog machines, mummies...I didn't really know what to do.
Picking out my own candy.

Just Another Monday Night

Aunt Krissy taught Zoey how to "cheese" for the camera this weekend, so here she is showing off her pearly whites! Today was also her first trip to the dentist, so she has reason to show 'em off!! She also LOVES to turn on the radio in the office. She will press buttons and the "wait for it". tonight she managed to turn on Maroon 5 and it was hilarious, she immediatlely started bobbing up and down and smiling...as if to say, victory!

Pumpkin Patch 2010

When Mommy and Daddy got back from our night away, we decided we couldn't let Nana and Aunt Krissy have all the fun :-) So we took Zoey out to the Gritts Farm Pumpkin Patch in Buffalo, WV. She hadn't had much of an afternoon nap, so she was a bit crabby, but we all still enjoyed looking at the pumpkins. "Dad, can we get this one?"
"Or maybe this one?" Shortly after this photo she started running down the row of pumpkins and fell and cut her knee and leg on the only piece of metal in the entire pumpkin patch!
Now you can see the war wound, but it didn't slow her down. She wanted no part of being carried. But she was more interested in the dirt and gravel than the pumpkins at times.

Cheesing again.
I thought you only wore dresses at Halloween when you lived in Texas!

Tailgating with Good Friends

One week later and back in Blacksburg for the Duke game with our good friends Matt and Heather. It was a noon game, so we tailgated with pancakes and all the fixings. So fun!!
Good friends forever :-)
Awww...what a sweet couple :-)
Another sweet couple!

The Johns' are a bunch of Hokies for the day!

When we found out we were moving back to WV, I decided to treat Jay with season tickets to the VT home games as a father's day gift. I would of course prefer season tickets to NCSU, but the drive to Blacksburg is half as far and it is still a neat college town and fun game day amosphere. So, here we are before heading off to the Wake Forest game, taking a few photos with our littlest Hokie/Wolfpacker. Forgive the quality of this photo, I cropped it on the camera!
Put me in coach!!

Mommy, Daddy and Zoey get away to Stonewall Jackson for the weekend

Mommy, Daddy and Zoey took a few days off after getting settled into our new home in Hurricane, WV. We went about a 100 miles North to Stonewall Jackson Resort and stayed in a cabin. The area was beautiful and peaceful, but unfortunately it rained a lot and little Z was getting an ear infection and didn't want to sleep. We still enjoyed our time together and the time away.
Calastenics :-)
