I Can Sit Up All By Myself!!

For a while we had been working with Zoey to see if she could sit on her own. She would always immediately start to lean and then topple over. However, today we sat her up and there she stayed...just playing with her toys!!!

Mama's so bright...

...I gotta wear shades!! Everytime we go out for a walk or jog, Zoey always squints and turns her head. So we decided it was time she got her very first pair of shades. What a hot little mess, she is so cute.

Now I eat in my Big Girl Chair

Miss Zoey has been eating in her High Chair for a while, but now we have it strapped into her very own chair. She is getting so big!

Just like her Auntie

Just in case you can't read it, my shirt says, "...My goal is to be as charming and sophisticated as my Auntie!" I would say she is well on her way.

The First Time Zoey Rolled Over!!

Well, Valentine's Day was a rough day at the John's household. Mommy and Daddy both ended up at Urgent Care. Daddy had a sinus infection and mom had a throat infection. Needless to say there wasn't much celebrating going on and we were definitely in need of a pick me up. So, when Miss Zoey picked today to roll over for the very first time, it was just what the doctor ordered!!! She rolled from her back to her tummy. Here are some photos after she got over on her tummy.

Big Smiles...

Just another Friday night hanging out with mom and dad. I have a bit of a cold, but you would never know it from the big smiles!! And check out those bright blue eyes!!

Trying out my Big Girl car seat...

Daddy and Zoey were hanging out together this afternoon and he decided to try out her "Big Girl" car seat! Looks like it is already a good fit!! It is called, Cowmooflage :-)

My First Battle Scar

So, today when Mommy picked Zoey up at daycare, I had to sign a waiver, saying I knew she got a boo-boo at school. Apparently someone else in her class threw a block and hit her in the head and she cried quite hard and they applied ice and lots of TLC. Jay and I didn't think injury was something we need to worry about in the infant room!! So the picture didn't really turn out, but she had a nice little knot.

Mom's a Superhero!

Just in case there were ever any doubts :-)
