Karter 6 Weeks 1/31/13

My little guy just keeps getting bigger and bigger and surprisingly enough, being  a new mom for the second time isn't nearly as stressful as it was the first go round.  Maybe I know it's the last time there is going to be a newborn in the house so I am trying to take it all in stride, or maybe doing it all once with Zoey taught me that these little creatures of God aren't nearly as fragile as they appear.  They are little fighters that just need lots of love and cuddling...so that is my approach.  As much love as cuddling as possible.  Here are some photos of Karter at 6 weeks...on his own and with his big sister.  The second set of photos are Karter and Zoey in their "Bear Bum" pajamas that Aunt 10-10 brought back from her trip out west.  Zoey loves him so much.  Now when she comes home from school she runs to him before her mama :-)  I'm only a little jealous!

Walk with Mommy 1/29/13

It was a nice winter day in WV, so Mommy decided to go for a walk.  I put little man in the Baby Bjorn and he made it about 5 steps before he conked out!  Too bad he doesn't do that when he is in his crib so Mommy can nap :-)

 

5 weeks 1/24/13

Time is moving way too fast and our little man is getting so big.  Here are his 5 weeks photos.   The beautiful quilt was made for him by his cousin Sam.  I also threw in some photos of his big sister when she was 5 weeks old.  Can you see the family resemblance?

Karter is 1 Month Old - 1/20/13

Today Karter is 1 month old!  Here are some photos of him on his beautiful blanket that Nana made for him.  He was wide eyed for these photos.

Karter 4 weeks

Today was Karter's 4 weeks appt at the doctor's office and he is getting to be such a big boy!!  He was 7 lbs 6 oz and 20 " long.  He was 3rd percentile in height and 10th percentile in weight and head circumference.  So our little man is slowly catching up :-)

Karter's First Bath 1/7/12

On Sunday Karter's umbilical cord fell off, so it was finally time for his first bath.   I can't say he was very excited about it.  Here are some photos of him in his first very quick bath!  He didn't cheer up until he was cuddled up nice and dry!

Newborn and Family Photos

Today Ruthie of Ruthie Mae Photography came to take some newborn photos of our beautiful little boy and the family   He is 2 weeks old today.  I am truly blessed I have such beautiful, healthy children!
